Please join the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) on Wednesday, February 21, for a hiring workshop.
This free workshop is open to the public, and is designed to educate job seekers about immediate openings for several high-need positions at CDCR. By attending, job seekers will have an opportunity to tour Ironwood State Prison, receive information about the job vacancies, including salary and benefits. Hiring authorities will be on site to provide assessment of qualifications, and assist with creating a State of California CalCareers account, which is needed to apply for a state job. CDCR will be recruiting new staff for both Chuckawalla Valley State Prison and Ironwood State Prison. Representatives at the fair will be ready to conduct interviews and possibly provide tentative job offers.
Tours of the institution are optional and are subject to security clearance. To request a tour, RSVP is required by February 9, 2018. Please call (760) 921-7559 for assistance.
