The PEDAL Program Kick Off Event
Safer Communities through Collaboration

The Richard J. Donovan Correctional Facility, San Diego District Attorney Office, the San Diego Crime Commission, and the San Diego Reentry Roundtable launch Providing Ex-Offenders Driving Alternatives for Life (PEDAL) Program.

Inmates learn a valuable skill of bike restoration, and through the San Diego Reentry Roundtable, reentry facilities are identified, and ex-offenders can use the refurbished bicycles as means of transportation to and from work and other reentry programming.

Successful reentry for ex-offenders is vital to keeping San Diego streets safer and helping ex-offenders transition into productive members of society.

The bike presentation to the parolees will take place Monday, February 2 at 9:30 a.m. at:
Chula Vista Parole Office
765 3rd Avenue #200
Chula Vista, CA 91910
